Job Purpose: Supports organization financial objectives by providing financial analysis, recommendations, and support to the Finance Director.

Accounting Job Duties:
To support the Finance Director in the below related duties.

• Accomplishes accounting task by communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures per established GAAP accounting guidelines.
• Follows accounting organizational strategies by contributing financial information, analysis, and recommendations for strategic thinking and direction.
• Establishing personal functional objectives in line with organization.
• Provides financial projections by assisting with coordinating budget/forecast preparation in addition to collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial information. Advising departments on the collection and analysis of data.
• Maintains sufficient funds by forecasting cash requirements and obligations.
• Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. To include analyzing sales margin by product and service pricing policies.
• Minimizes inventory investment by analyzing turns.
• Perform general cost accounting processes and procedures.
• Provide assistance and back up accounts receivable and accounts payable when needed along with any related duties as assigned.
• Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum: 4-year accounting degree. BA and / or CPA preferred.
3- 5 Years Accounting experience preferred.
Manufacturing and Cost Accounting experience preferred.
